| Reminder - If you booked a Frontier economy flight, it costs $ to check bags |

All,
I wanted to send a quick reminder to everyone who is flying Frontier. If you booked an economy flight (or used the 10% discount we have) they charge either $20 or $15 for the 1st bag, if you check a bag, so if you want to avoid the fee or reduce it, here are a few quick ways to help.
You are allowed 1 carry on and 1 personal item. Well, you can bring an ultimate bag (GAIA bags are about as large as you can go for your 1 carry on. Also, you can bring a book bag / regular sized back pack, whatever you want to call it, as your 1 personal item. Between the two bags, you should be able to bring almost everything you would need, excluding a shade tent or chair. If you do check a bag, chair, cooler, shade tent, or whatever, and you are traveling to the airport with someone else, consider combining your checked bag if it is big enough and split the checked bag fee cost (provided the total weight is under 50 pounds).
Anyway, I am guessing a number of you already knew about some of the helpful items above, but I hope this info is helpful to some of you. Safe travels and see you in Scottsdale.
